영어권에서는 만화 등에서 코를 고는 소리를 ZZZ라고 표기하는 경우가 많기 때문에 Z라는 글씨를 '수면'이라는 뜻으로도 사용한다. catch a few Z's라는 표현은 조금이라도 격식을 차리는 자리에서는 적합하지 않고, 대신 take a catnap, take a short nap 등의 표현을 쓰면 된다.
예) I felt much better after I took a catnap. (잠깐 눈을 붙이고 나니 컨디션이 훨씬 좋아졌다.)
